A PhD position for four years (Universitätsassistent/Universitätsassistentin ohne Doktorat) starting around December 1st, 2022 is open at the Institute of Theoretical and Computational Physics
Terms of Admission:
Candidates must have obtained a degree equivalent to a University master in physics or similar.
Desired Qualification:
Experience in the field of strongly correlated quantum many-body systems out of equilibrium. Programming experience (preferably C++, Python). Knowledge in the field of Green’s functions out of equilibrium and/or open quantum systems would be an advantage.
The candidate is expected to achieve a Phd degree during the employment. The position is associated with teaching duties within the field of technical physics.
